Travel
The city of Ghent is easily reachable from Brussels with direct trains every 15-20 minutes from Brussels-Midi railway station (which is the main international train station in Belgium). With Belgium centrally located in Europe, we hope to see many ESEE2026 participants travelling to the conference by train. For the ones flying in, there are also direct trains from Brussels Airport to the railway station of Ghent (+/- 1 hour).
Ghent itself has good public transportation (trams and buses), but given the size of the city, one can also walk to most sights and venues. The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration is a 15-20 minute walk from the main railway station of Ghent (Gent-Sint-Pieters). All events (welcome reception, conference dinner) will be organized within walking distance from the conference venue.
